Games and sports are much sought-after profession these days. Inflow of abundant money, prestige and popularity has made the winning sportspersons celebrities and stars. Thus, there’s a fierce competition to win. Of course, sound health, fitness and robust physique is asset to everyone but will that suffice to win a match or sports event? This bothers them. In the quest of beating the opponent participants, they use illegal and foul means. Doping is one among these. Since sport plays an important role in physical and mental education and in promoting international understanding and cooperation, the widespread use of doping products and methods has consequences not only on health of the athletes, but also upon the image of sport. Thus, doping in sports is forbidden for both ethical and medical reasons.Narcotics and analgesics, anabolic steroids, hormones, selective androgen receptor modulators are among the most frequently utilized substances. Today we often hear about substance, drugs, energy boosters, recharging agents like terms here and there. In the field of recreation, games and sports doping has emerged as a menace. As waste materials are resources put at wrong place causing pollution, similarly doping is the abuse, misuse or overuse of valuable and otherwise useful elements/substances meant for medication etc. These agents are abused to strengthen the stamina and enhance the individual’s sports performance to top the list of participants.
