Double Dork Diaries features the first two books from the humorous Dork Diaries series. These books are the personal diary of Nikki Maxwell, a teenage girl and her experiences at a new private middle school. This book will be ideal for readers aged between 11 to 15 years. Summary of the Book Nikki Maxwell recently starts attending a private middle school called Westchester Country Day. She is a 14-year-old average teenager, who is not at all jubilant about the fact that she has to change her school and adjust with the snobby, rich kids from a private school. She is a complete misfit at school and spends most of her time writing in her dairy. If this was not enough, Nikki has her locker right next to the most popular girl in school, Mackenzie Hollister. Mackenzie tries her best to make Nikki’s life miserable at school and labels her a “Dork”. Things start looking up for Nikki when she manages to befriend Chloe and Zoey. Nikki enters the school art show only to find out that her main competition is none other than Mackenzie, who will go to any lengths to win. Will Nikki emerge as the winner of the art competition? In the second book of the series, Nikki is all excited and hoping to go for the Halloween Party at school with her crush, Brandon Roberts. But she soon overhears Mackenzie Hollister bragging that she is going to the dance with Brandon. Nikki is disappointed and heartbroken and decides to serve on the dance clean-up committee instead.
