Dr Ambedkar envisaged Prabuddha India, where equality is a norm, a real Indian nation in the social and psychological sense of the world where fraternity is a fact, which only can sustain liberty and equality. A truly democratic India is where rulers are not always drawn from the ruling class; the class of the ruled becomes the ruling class, where religion is in accord with science. This book is a result of restlessness caused by the free fall of secularism and scientific temper in India.
