A young solicitor meets with a Transylvanian Count who seeks to do business abroad. Summary of the Book When Abraham Van Helsing heard about Mina Murray’s health, he had his suspicions. She was sick, dying, and there were strange signs about her person. Van Helsing suspected there was something macabre about her symptoms, but he didn’t want to consider the possibilities that were coming to his mind. But then, the family informs him about a strange man called Count Dracula who had come to town and met with them earlier that week. There was no doubt in Van Helsing’s mind. This Count Dracula was no ordinary human being. He was the nosferatu, the undead, a creature of legend known as the Vampire! About Bram Stoker Abraham “Bram” Stoker was an Irish novelist and the personal assistant of the actor Henry Irving. His other works include The Primrose Path, Miss Betty, The Lady of the Shroud and Lady Athlyne.
