Summary of the Book Jonathan Harker knew that the rumours about Count Dracula were false. They made no sense, how could the villagers think he was behind the strange disappearances in the region. He didn’t care for their opinion, after all, he was here merely to carry out the business of his company. However, the Count seemed interested in more than just real estate. He was a gracious host, but he had rules. He didn’t want Jonathan to roam the castle at night, for one. But Jonathan Harker couldn’t resist. What could hurt about exploring?
