Earth2 had been established for hundreds of years as a nice and comfortable place to live (it was colonised). No wars had ever happened. People were happy. The Newspapers came regularly. Food is OK. The Neighbours keep to themselves. One occupation per person is guaranteed if wanted. Things happened like clockwork. The weather is predictable.
