ABOUT THE BOOK:- This book highlights the regional disparities in India in terms of per capita income, HDI as well as its components and in respect of the measures of human poverty index over a period of 30 years since the 1980s. Appropriate statistical and economic tools are used to determine the causes of socioeconomic disparities across Indian states.
