It is most revered stone worshiped by Vishnu Bhakts. The Shaligram is the most sacred stone worshiped by the Vaishnavas and is used to worship Vishnu . According to shastra worship Shree Shaligram for six values of life ;- Righteous living, Wealth, Protection, good health, pleasures and Spiritual blessing .As per Skanda Puran, in early 1900 the Trupati God Balaji (Veketeshwar) used to be decorated with a rosary of round or small Sudarshan Shaligram Shilas as shown in the picture on the website. Donating the Shaligram Rosary to Lord Vishnu is considered very auspicious. Wearing of small Shree Gopal Krishna or Sudashan Shaligram malas by the devotee bestows the devotee with extreme protection and peaceful environment. The Shree Shaligram rosary has been designed in gold, silver and panchdhatu as these three matels are very auspicious as per our Hindu texts. If the rosary is designed in these metals the effect of the worship multiply manifold times.
