Apart from this book, DiPrima has written one more book, entitled Elementary Differential Equations. DiPrima completed his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees at Carnegie-Mellon University, studying Mathematics. He has worked with a number of leading educational institutions such as Harvard, and MIT. He had also worked at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, holding the post of the Eliza Ricketts Foundation Professorship Of Mathematics. He was also a member of the American Physical Society, American Academy Of Mechanics, and American Society Of Mechanical Engineers. DiPrima passed away on the 10th of September 1984. William E. Boyce is a well-known academician, and author of mathematics books. Apart from this book, Boyce has written few other mathematics books, and they include Differential Equations: An Introduction To Modern Methods And Applications, and Differential Equations With Boundary Value Problems: An Introduction To Modern Methods And Applications. Boyce completed his B.A degree from Rhodes College, studying Mathematics. He later finished his M.S, and Doctoral degrees from Carnegie-Mellon University, studying Mathematics. He is a part of American Mathematical Society, Society Of Industrial And Applied Mathematics, and Mathematical Association Of America. In the year 1991, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute presented Boyce with the William H. Wiley Distinguished Faculty Award. Boyce currently holds the position of the Edward P. Hamilton Distinguished Professor Emeritus Of Science Education at the institute.
