Thomas’s Elements of Information Theory 2nd Edition is a comprehensive book on the basic concepts of Inorganic Chemistry, emphasizing on facts and discussing the important principles of periodicity in structure, bonding and reactivity. It explains few preliminary structure and bonding in molecules, the chemistry of acids, solutions, selected anions and other related topics. It also covers entropy, data compression, rate distortion and how these concepts find their application in communications, statistics, investment and complexity theory. About Thomas M. Cover Thomas M. Cover is a Professor of Electrical Engineering and Statistics at Stanford University. He has also co-authored Open Problems in Communication and Computation. About Joy A. Thomas Joy A. Thomas is the Chief Scientist at Apigee. He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and completed his higher studies from the Stanford University.
