Ender’s Game is a military science fiction written by the American author, Orson Scott Card. Summary of the Book When the human race faces annihilation, the government comes up with a programme to train child prodigies to fight against aliens. They find a young boy who they think can be their leader. Andrew "Ender" Wiggins is not an ordinary boy, nor are his peers. That is the precise reason why they are recruited into Battle School, an institution established for the gifted by the government. Ender's natural gifts make him the prospective candidate to serve as the greatest General the Earth has ever seen, to get rid of the alien kind forever. However, his skills are tested time and again in the Battle Room, and so are his mental abilities, almost forcing him to the edge of despair. Eventually, Ender and his siblings find out something that could change their fates forever, putting them in the lead against the Buggers to ultimately save the world.
