This book presents a comprehensive text for undergraduate students of engineering for their core course in Environmental Science and Engineering and for elective courses in Environmental Pollution, Environmental Health and Environmental Engineering. Furthermore, the concept of social issues and the environment have also been discussed.||About the Author: S.V.S. Rana is Professor and Head, Department of Zoology, Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut. He established the Department of Environmental Science at this university in 1996. Presently, he is looking after this Department also as its Coordinator. He established a Master's programme in Toxicology at C.C.S. University, Meerut in 2004. He has more than 35 years of university teaching and research experience. Prof. Rana has written six textbooks on ecology and environment for University students. He specializes in environmental toxicology and has published more than 150 research papers in reputed journals.
