This book on Engineering and Managerial Economics is a text book prepared for the engineering students of the Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow as per its prescribed syllabus. Despite its being a complicated branch of study for the engineering aspirants, efforts have been made to make the book simple, analytical and self-motivational. Care has been taken to make it more student-friendly even to those who have not been exposed to economic studies earlier. The salient features of the book are as under: It is as per syllabus of the Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU). It is written in simple but analytical manner. The book can be studied even by the beginners without difficulty. Questions have been given at the end of every chapter for self-assessment. Size of the chapters has been restrained at the required level to avoid undue burden on the students. About the Author Dr. Manoj Kumar Agarwal is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics, University of Lucknow. He has a teaching experience of over twenty three years as well as BBA and MBA level students. He has been awarded fellowship in India and abroad. He completed his Ph.D. as Junior Research fellow (UGC) at the Department of Economics, University of Lucknow. He has also been awarded Commonwealth Academic Staff Fellowship in UK (2005). Dr. Agarwal has authored and edited several books. He has contributed many research papers in India and abroad.
