Chemistry has a vast number of applications in engineering and technology. Physical and chemical properties of atom and molecule find use in the development of the engineering and technology. This book has been written with applications of chemistry in technology. It describes topics with good diagrammatic representations so that the readers can easily understand the subject. In addition, the book is result-oriented, explaining the detailed questions by examination-presentation method. It will serve as a comprehensive text for BE/BTech students and also be useful for the undergraduate students in chemistry. About The Author R Jayaprakash is currently a lecturer at the Department of Chemistry, Dhaanish Ahmed College of Engineering, Padapai, Tamil Nadu. He received his MSc in general chemistry from AM Jain College, Chennai, and MPhil from Periyar University, Salem. He has worked as a scientist in pharmaceutical industry for six years and as a lecturer for six years. He is doing PhD in organic synthesis at BS Abdur Rehman University, Chennai.
