Corporate governance is no longer just concerned with the accountability of directors and senior managers to shareholders: the "stakeholder" debate recognizes that corporate decision-making increasingly affects a wider range of groups. Since notions of corporate responsibility and ethics are closely bound up with the legal framework within which companies operate, the reform of corporate law is high on the policy agenda.Enterprise and Community draws on the work of lawyers, economists and management scientists from several countries.
