Every Day is a young-adult science fiction novel by David Levithan which tells the story of A, a 16 year old who keeps switching bodies involuntarily. Summary of the Book For as long as he can remember, A has been waking up in a different body each day. He is a quantum, and keeps jumping from body to body every day of his life. The catch is that he jumps into bodies which are the same age as he is. He takes on their memories, but never their emotions or feelings. He remembers their loves and dislikes, but never gets attached to anyone. He has jumped into bodies of girls and boys, but he has sworn to never get attached to anyone or anything. Until he meets Rhiannon. He is smitten by her, but he has only one day. One day, and for the first time it is not enough for him. He needs more time, time which he does not have.
