Hercule Poirot visits a posh vacation spot to try and find some peace, only to discover that death follows him everywhere. Evil Under the Sun is the 23rd novel in Agatha Christie’s series of murder mystery novels to feature the little Belgian detective. Summary of the Book A beautiful young bride is strangled to death on a beach by the Jolly Roger, a high-class vacation resort. The event rocks the resort, setting aflame a series of rumours and half-truths. However, there is only one problem, the rumours don’t help in finding the murderer. Thankfully, among the guests at the resort is little Belgian man who is rather proud of his moustache. He also describes himself as a detective with extremely fine-tuned grey cells.
