The first book on srutis. Part 1 , 2 and 3. p The present work is a paper that was presented before the All-India Music conference in Baroda in 1916, and the subject matter of which is the suritis of Indian music. The work presents the various scales in a mathematical manner, laying special emphasis on the system Dwavimsati suritis according to Sarnga Dev, the author of Sangeetha Ratnakaram. There are many charts in the book that list the various time signatures, and scales of various tonic notes. This work ends with a extract from the first book on staff notation for Indian music. This book is a reprint of the 1917 edition
