In this book, Eyes of the Heart, you find that the main character, Nathaniel Matthews is a high ranking officer in the United States Marines. He lives in Dripping Springs, Texas which is my favorite town, finding himself falling in love with a woman who is also in the marines. Matthews and a few of his war buddies are facing several wars in Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan as 1st Lieutenant Matthews learns what it like to become a husband, a father and a protector./p
