Due to the Philippines remaining virtually cut-off in early 1942 from the friendly outside world, the battle and fall of the Island's has attracted little interest in the stories of that desperate and tragic fight. Of the many lost or unwritten due to its rapid fall, this book contains seventeen of those I feel best tell and represent that bitter and oft forgotten campaign.
