While going to the beach one day, Georgina also known as George, reveals to the group the existence of an island that is owned by her family. When a thunderstorm suddenly resurfaces an old shipwreck, the group finds a black box. The discovery of this box catapults readers further into the plot. After a map is discovered in the box, the group becomes determined to follow the map’s directions in the hope that they would find treasure.
