Tasbih. Tasb?? (Arabic: ???????) is a form of dhikr that involves the repetitive utterances of short sentences in the praise and glorification of Allah, in Islam. To keep track of counting either the phalanges of the right hand or a misbaha is used. Tashbih (Arabic: ???????) is an Islamic religious concept meaning closeness. In Islamic theology, two opposite terms are attributed to Allah, tashbih and tanzih, or distance and transcendence. However, the fuller meaning of tashbih is 'affirming similarity', i.e. affirming Allah's nearness to humanity.
