Mosley is a British author, TV presenter, journalist, and psychiatrist. He was born in Calcutta in 1957. Mosley studied at New College, Oxford, and then worked as a banker. He joined the Royal Free Hospital Medical School in order to become a psychiatrist. He is the television presenter of Inside The Human Body and Horizon Programme Eat, Fast, Live Longer. In 1995, he was awarded the Medical Journalist of the Year title by the British Medical Association. His documentary, Horizon, got him BAFTA and Emmy nominations. He tried the 5:2 diet, which resulted in this book. Peta Bee is a British Health journalist and author.
