Summary of the Book In Feynman’s Tips on Physics, the author discusses various physics topics with his characteristic flair, insight, and humor. This book comprises of three of Feynman’s lectures on problem-solving and a lecture on inertial guidance. This book also provides firsthand account of the origins of his extraordinary lecture series. In addition, the book consists of several exercises to understand the complex concepts of physics better. Feynman's Tips on Physics provides students, teachers, and physics enthusiasts with an opportunity to learn physics from some of its greatest teachers. About Richard Feynman Richard Phillips Feynman was an American physicist and scientist best remembered for his work in the path integral formulation of quantum mechanics, the theory of quantum electrodynamics, and the physics of the superfluidity of supercooled liquid helium, as well as in particle physics. He is also known in academic circles for his series of lectures on physics which were recorded and compiled into a series of books entitled The Feynman Lectures on Physics. He is also known for his semi-autobiographical books: Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman! and What Do You Care What Other People Think? Feynman received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1965 with Julian Schwinger and Sin-Itiro Tomonaga for his contributions to the development of quantum electrodynamics. A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Princeton University, where he also completed his Ph.D., he participated in the Manhattan Project.
