While writing the book, it has been kept in mind by the author, that it should be fully useful for the students who are doing P.G.D.C.A. (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application), D.C.A (Diploma in Computer Application), B.Com. (C.A./Hon.). This book is also excellent for anyone wanting to learn Tally. According to Syllabus, students are often upset due to not getting the book. This book is able to free them from this trouble. Easy language has been used in writing, it has not been avoided to use English words freely if needed to make them easily understandable. The tally course is divided into 5 units, with questions related to each unit indicated at the end of each unit. The shortcut button and key-combination related to Tally has been described at the appropriate place which will help the tally operator to become an expert. In the book, the screen shot of Tally is used for the purpose of explaining as well as keeping in mind that students can get as much writing material as possible to write answers to questions. The book is written according to Tally.ERP9, since the above courses do not include GST, yet a separate chapter has been written for GST based on the current requirement.
