This book tries to analyse the key aspects of financial markets and institutions, with special reference to India. Explaining the characteristics of Indian Financial System, with particular emphasis on commercial banks, non-banking finance companies, mutual funds, PFI and capital markets, it describes in detail the different categories of financial market. The role of financial institutions in the financial markets has also been examined. About the Author G. Ramesh Babu, Lecturer in Commerce, S.S.R. Jyothi College, Khammam, has vast teaching experience of 18 years at U.G. and P.G. levels.
