Due to clubbing of the subjects "Fluid Mechanics" and "Hydraulic Machines" in one paper by various universities, there had been demands of adding "Fluid Mechanics" with our present book "Hydraulic Machines". In view of this, the book now covers Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulics and Hydraulic Machines. In this edition, efforts have been made to present the text in a simple and lucid manner which can be understood by the students without any difficulty. The book contains a large number of solved examples to help the students to understand the subject easily.
