This book is Dr. Bina Biswass maiden venture into poetry and is divided into different sections; Nature, Love and Life, From the Voices Gagged, History & Mythology and On Elfin Note and all are worth reading. This anthology also encases her different interests in romanticism, political issues, history, mythology and spirituality. Each section is enjoyable. About the Author Dr. Bina Biswas is Professor and Head, Department of English TRR College of Engineering, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. An alumnus of the University of Delhi, she has a Doctorate from Andhra University. She has carried out extensive research on Tagores short stories and poems for over eight years. She writes short stories and poems and translates Tagores poems into English. Her story Case of a Missing Shoe has been published in The Indian Literature (IL 272), Sahitya Akademi. Her two books of short fictions entitled Tale of the Missing Shoe and Other Stories and Breeze in the Old Building and Other Stories were published in 2012. Her monumental works comprise English translation from Bangla of Michael Madhusudan Dutts Meghnaabadh Kabya and is being published. Her Bengali translation of Mahesh Dattanis Sahitya Akademi Award winning English play Final Solutions is being published by Sahitya Akademi, Kolkata. She is presently working on a docufiction entitled The Broken Promise and a fiction A Piece of the Sky Overhead.
