This book presents the Indic Philosophy, Principles and values for social work education and has made an attempt to bring the Indian indigenous philosophical traditions and evidence based religious practices and its applications into social work education. It focuses on the importance of expanding the philosophical base of social work, promoting Indian world view and indigenous models of rural reconstruction and suggests reorienting the social work philosophy and approaches in the social work curriculum as per the needs of the Indian society. This book is an important contribution towards decolonising and indigenising the social work education in India.
