Ceramic crucibles are great for those who are using a hand held torch to melt their material. They are designed with tapered sides and a pour spout for easy material removal, and suitable for melting precious metals (platinum, gold, silver, bronze, copper, brass, etc.) in high temperatures. These resistant crucibles can melt non-ferrous as well as precious metals. Quality crucibles offer consistent performance and good thermal conductivity to keep metal from cooling too rapidly.
