Mr. Chinmaya Mahapatra, M. Pharma, Post graduate diploma in Clinical Research. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) Under DST INSPIRE Fellowship.Current Job: Patient Safety - Pharmacovigilance Associate, Indian Pharmacopoeia commission, Ministry of Health, Govt. of India. He has completed his master’s degree from Berhampur University, Odisha in the year 2012 and honoured with 1st rank holder certificate. He worked for around 3 years as Quality Assurance Officer in various Pharmaceutical companies such as Akums Drugs, Ciron Drugs, and IPCA Laboratories Ltd. He got selected for DST INSPIRE fellowship in the year 2014 and returned to academic stream. He joined as assistant professor at Royal college of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and started pursuing his PhD under Berhampur University. In the year 2017, he joined Indian Pharmacopoeia commission (IPC) as Patient Safety- Pharmacovigilance Associate and got posted at M.K.C.G. Medical College, Berhampur, Odisha. Now he has taken the responsibility of sending the adverse drug reaction reports to IPC. During pursuing his Ph D., he thought of writing a book on fundamental concepts of Pharmacy by trying to align the concepts with the today’s real situation in pharmaceutical companies.
