The book entitled “Fundamentals of Remote Sensing” has been written strictly according to the new syllabus prescribed by different Universities. This book has been written strictly as per the prescribed syllabus. The object of this book is to provide a helpful text to the students. The subject matter has been presented in a comprehensive, lucid and systemic manner which is easy to understand even by self study. The book is designed to serve as a teaching text and not as a reference book. The object has been to make the book more accessible to the students.
