Gaban is a Hindi novel written by Premchand. It was first published in 1931. About Premchand Premchand, better known as Munshi Premchand, was one of India’s most famous writers in Hindustani literature. He started writing under the pen name Nawab Rai and eventually changed it to Premchand. He was born as Dhanpat Rai Srivastav. Premchand’s writings are acclaimed to be rationalistic and realistic. He often used his works as a mean to spread awareness and shed light on some of the most important social and political issues. He is the author of Rangbhoomi, Roothi Rani, Seva Sadan, Pratigya and Duniya Ka Sabse Anmol Ratan.
