In this novel, prem chand described the life of farmers in detail. This novel shows how a farmers hides his pain and difficulties in his heart, and he have many abilities. A hero of this novel Hoori, meets with people like upper cast, rich and intellectual and agrees them to fight for their rights. This story shows what type of difficulties a farmer face like drought, disease, poverty. And when they can�t bear it, so he hides it in his heart and make suicide. This story presents the situation of farmers of our country.
