This book is on the Spatio-Temporal Analysis of Crime Against Women (CAW) in West Bengal (WB). It is written to determine the context of any crime corresponding to the knowledge of space and time and be considered. Where, when certain types of crime occurred is the prime consideration of understanding crime events. Hence this book will: 1. Address Crime Against Women event from geographical perspectives.2. Focus on understanding the socio-economic and environmental factors responsible for the occurrence of Crime Against Women in WB.3. Analyze spatial pattern of CAW in WB.4. Do physical, environmental zoning to relate the occurrence of CAW in a different environmental setting which will be the first of its kind in India.5.
