This high-safety lock provides maximum protection for your home or office. The lock features seven brass levers that ensure maximum safety, while all components are crafted from sheet metal to provide maximum strength. The body of the lock is powder-coated to resist scratches and provide long-lasting durability, and the receptacle is reinforced for added strength. To enhance security and privacy, a safety catch is provided. Once the safety catch is turned on from inside, the lock cannot be opened from outside even by its own key. This ensures safety and privacy. The lock can also be replaced with an Ultra Latch /Tribolt/Latchbolt using an Ultra Retrofit Adaptor without having to alter the holes on the door. The lock also features automatic dead-locking, which prevents forced latch-notching from outside. The profiled latch bolt increases strength and ensures smooth action. This lock is perfect for both residential and commercial applications, and provides exceptional safety and durability. Operation – Simply close the door to latch. Lock can be unlatched by key from outside and by knob from inside. The safety catch can also be used to hold the bolt in latch position. Bolt gets automatically deadlocked everytime the door is shut preventing the latch bolt being forced open from outside. Application – Wooden doors and entrance doors.
