Going to School was published by Usborne books. With vibrant and humorous illustrations and short stories the book is well received by parents for their toddlers and preschoolers. It is a good book to introduce the habit reading in children. The book describes first experiences of going to school which are funny and give a friendly introduction to real life situations. Anne Civardi is an experienced author, publisher, illustrator, and editor of children's non-fiction books. She was born and educated in Africa and has lived in America, but has spent the majority of her life in London. She studied art both in Colorado, USA, and London, where she received a sculpture diploma at Heatherley’s School of Fine Art. It was here that her passion for stone carving began. She has written many children’s books and two books on sculpture. First Experiences: Moving House, The New Baby, Going to the Dentist, Going to the Hospital, Going to a Party, and Going on a plane are books written by her.
