This light angrakkha is constructed from hand-woven cotton with two Persian - awadhi designs at the bottom and vibrant flower patterns all around. It combines the purity of white with the comfort of pure cotton. The gender of this angrakkha is determined by the number of knots on one side. The artisans at the royal court of Awadh popularised this clothing.
