Goli' is one of the best compositions of Acharya Chatursen, an eminent hindi author. In the book, the author has presented the inside story about the places of Rajasthan and the life style, living pattern of the Kings. It has become very interesting and mind blowing too. somewhere sensible also. The book narrates about the life of maid - servants (Daasi) and their social status related to the contemporary society. This is the story of a helpless maid - servant who, in her whole life, was sexually exploited by the king, and because of that even her husband could not dare to make any relations with her wife. This is the basis of the story. Due to this mind opening narration, 'Goli' will be always considered as an authenticated document. The author has used such a beautiful language and writing skill that has made him reader favorite, and it gained him a lot of popularity.
