The Goodyear Assurance Duraplus 2 is known for being efficient and durable. The manufacturer claims that these tyres were constructed following the TreadLife Technology which features an innovative tread design. The largest tyre from this variant is sized 205/65R15 which is suitable for SUV’s such as the Mahindra Quanto or the Toyota Innova while the smallest tyre from this variant is sized 145/70R13 which is suitable for small hatchbacks such as the Maruti Suzuki Zen or the Fiat Uno. The Goodyear Assurance Duraplus 2 has new symmetrical tread pattern designed with a wider cavity shape and narrower grooves which increases wearable rubber volume. This ensures a longer lasting tread life. The tyre is built with 2 layers of high modulus low shrinkage ply material in the sidewall to ensure better resistance against external impacts. The sidewall compound and the tyre tread patch is further upgraded to enhance long term resistance against aquaplaning ensuring a safe ride.
