A warm welcome to the fourth edition of the book. The arrangement of chapters has been done according to the syllabus of Class XI and Class XII so that students can joyfully enjoy taking guidelines for the higher level required for JEE along with their classroom studies. Various suggestions provided to improve the quality of matter have been properly incorporated. The present edition is thoroughly revised, modified, and enlarged according to the new pattern of JEE and includes 17 chapters of physical chemistry. Each chapter is keyed to the text material in brief that includes an overview of the chapter. The follow-up of the text has been illuminated by solved numerical problems in concept-building exercises in order to enhance students' problems solving skills. Variations of problems including single integer problems, multiple choice questions (one answer correct, more than one answer correct in separate exercises), comprehension-based problems, and matching type problems are provided with their answers in separate exercises.
