It is a collection of glamorous annual Painted Daisy varieties, which grow around 50 centimetres in height. The plants produce very distinctive tri-colour flowers with colourful rings on the head of each flower. The flowers develop on the branched green shoots, whose colour significantly contrasts with the exceptional flower heads, which results in an outstanding colourful composition with fabulous decorative potential.Originally, this family of flowers grew in 15th century China as an herb; Europeans began cultivating them in the 17th century. This particular variety of tricolor daisy comes from the coasts of northern Africa, or what was formerly known as the Barbary Coast.
