Well-organized and clearly written, this undergraduate-level text covers most of the standard basic theorem in group theory, providing proofs of the basic theorem of both finite and infinite groups and developing as much of their superstructure as space permits. This book is organized by defining binary relation and binary operation on any arbitrary set which develops two different algebraic structurs, partilly ordered set and algebraic system. Over 500 exercises in varying degrees of difficulty enables students to test their grasp of material, which is largely self-contained . Also included are a bibilography, a index, and a index of notations.
