Shikakai is a cleanser that strengthens hair roots and speeds up hair growth. Consequently, it is used to combat premature graying. It is not only give you a beautiful, luxuriant head of hair, it also nourishes hair giving it luster, body and softness. This plant combats fungal infection and reduces dandruff. It has a low pH and acts as a natural hair detangler. Although shikakai produces less foam then a sulfate shampoo, it does a decent clean up job.
