This book is written with the objective of helping the beginners of open Source technologies and taking full advantage of the framework for providing cloud security. This book addresses various aspects dealt with computer and communication field. The secure system can be attained by deploying open source security monitoring tools at the critical systems and provides early diagnosis and health reporting. This is achieved by measuring the data communication parameters such as throughput, network/packet delay, bandwidth, Qos and accuarcy with improving visualization graphs. These illustrations offer an overview of data exchanged between the sender and reciever. Further, the most popular and highly matured security attack called the Distributed Denial of Service Attack (DDos) and its consequences in the computing servers is demonstrated. Also, the detection mechanisms are devised that yields high detection accuracy and low false positive rate using learning algorithms.
