Handbook of Pharmaceutical Technology encompasses four subjects viz. Pharmaceutics I Pharmaceutics II Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence (Forensic Pharmacy). Model questions are incorporated topicwise chapterwise or subjectwise in such a manner that in many cases informations provided through these are not included in the text to reduce the size of this book. It may be used as a textbook by both diploma and degree students and at the same time it will provide valuable and necessary information to all concerned appearing for any competitive examination in pharmacy including GATE. About the Author Dr. L.K. Ghosh is presently working as a Reader Department of Pharmaceutical Technology Jadavpur University Calcutta - 700032. During his B.Pharm and M.Pharm studentship at Jadavpur University he never stood second in any of the semester examinations. He stood first class first among all the Indian Universities both in degree and master degree examinations. In GATE he secured highest score in his zone. His academic excellence culminated in crowning glory and bestowing of a number of awards and scholarships including University Gold Medals both in degree and master degree Prof. M.L. Khorana Memorial Award Jai Shankar Memorial Award IDMA-G.P. Nair Award M.N. Dev Memorial Award Premananda Das Memorial Award Prof. Anupam Sengupta Memorial Award etc. Dr. Ghosh guided many B.Pharm. And M.Pharm. Students and produced 9 Ph.D.s. He published 16 research papers in reputed international journals and 21 research papers in reputed national journals. He has presented many papers and delivered several lectures as resource person in scientific conferences/workshops etc. acting as examiner paper- setter of more than twelve universities/faculties.
