He is the author of several other books, including Myth = Mithya: A Handbook of Hindu Mythology, The Pregnant King, and Jaya: An Illustrated Retelling of the Mahabharata. A graduate of Grant Medical College, Mumbai, he worked in Pharma for fourteen years before moving on to a career in writing.
