Because wood has the appropriate weight and weaver can made sarees perfectly with puling wooden dice by hand and pushing wooden liver by leg. Some people have confusion between Bengali Tant saree and Bengali handloom saree. First of all every sarees are being made in hand woven Tant Frame. Now when we give starch in saree we called it Tant saree and when we do not give starch we called it handloom.
