Vermiwash is a liquid fertiliser. It contains excretory products of earthworm secretions, worm coelomic fluid pouring through dorsal pores, mucus, enzymes released by worms and microbes, plant nutrients, vitamins, and plant growth boosting chemicals. It is a type of excrement known as vermicasts. Which contain a lot of nutrients, particularly soluble K, Ca, and Mg, which end up in vermiwash. It also contains plant growth hormones (auxin and cytokinin), nitrate fixing bacteria, and phosphorus solubilizing bacteria.
