Surgical trays, also called surgeon trays or dressing trays, are used to store, transport, and keep medical tools safe. They are usually made of steel, but can also be made of other materials, such as enamel, aluminum, or polymers. Surgical trays have corners formed and large bead edges to make them easy to clean, stack, and handle. They may also include an electrosurgical device to aid in hemostasis and gauze.
